Official: YSRC Quits from Telangana Elections

Jagan's YSR Congress party is officially out of race from Telangana assembly elections this year. Amid the seats adjustment, exchange of allegations and war of words between Mahakutami and TRS, the YSRC party announced its quit from contesting in Telangana polls in 2018.

YSRC released an official announcement stating the same and also gave supporting reasons for their decision. The party wants to focus entirely on Andhra Pradesh politics and 2019 general elections and said to be looking forward to contest in 2024 elections in Telangana, to strengthen the party meanwhile.

Now that YSRC dropped off from Telangana polls, it is all the game between TRS, mahakootami, BJP and Janasena for now.

On the other side, YS Jagan is heard to be on plans to resume his Paadayatra from November 12.

As expected....YSrC is a regional party and after the borders were redrawn, political alignments changed and YSRC realized this earlier than TDP.
