Before he took up movie production and went on producing big ticket movies, Bandla Ganesh had played comedy roles in many films. He is a good comedian. On screen!

Surprisingly, Telugu news channels are also treating him as a comedian in Telangana politics.

As protests by Congress leaders who did not get party tickets are occupying the news space, Bandla Ganesh is coming to news room discussions to provide some comic relief with his silly and illogical statements.

He clearly has no knowledge of politics and Telangana. As media channels aware of his "knowledge", they are purposely asking him on things that he is not aware of, all for getting some juicy bytes.

Bandla Ganesh recently declared that Prime Minister Modi banned Rs 1000 notes and brought demonetization because Telangana Minister KTR had announced that he would give Rs 1000 to each person who spots a pothole in Hyderabad.

Modi feared that all Rs 1000 notes would go to Hyderabad, he explained. The news reader was spotted laughing out loud with this silly statement. 

His sound bytes are now becoming viral stuff for Youtube channels. He is hoping to get a ticket but the  congress party has not announced him a ticket.

Bandla Ganesh, however, has become a good comedian in Telangana politics.
