I strongly recommend Global Entry to all h1-b holders. I applied, waited for an year for approval and able to travel and returned without any issue. TSA Pre also included which makes travel even better specially with kids.

They will approve for 5 years, but you just have to stop by in any airport and update visa whenever its renewed.

All Indians are eligible regardless of visa.

took me an year and someone of my friends got it under 8 months. It depends on how soon Indian gov send clearance to CBP

How does it works with H1B? How do you get entry stamp in your passport and how do you pass the customs?

I second that..this is the reason why applied on April 9th this year still waiting..but when I get it I am sure it will be nice ..
