traveling thru London. visa question. Help

I am traveling to India in December thru London.

I heard the visa has to be valid at least 6 months from traveling dates; otherwise, they will (London) will not allow is this correct?

While leaving to India, my visa will be valid for more than 6 months (6 months + 10 days)

But while coming back, my visa will be less than 6 months (5 months + 20 days)

will there be any issues with these dates? 

Experts please provide your valuable experience. TIA.

Also, do we need to take transit visa?

Passport 6 months valid undali not visa I believe..

You should have valid US visa if you have stop over in London lekapote boarding pass ivvaru but 5 months 20 days shouldn't be an issue. To be safe just email British embassy. They usually respond in 48 hrs.
