Section 20A of the Representation of People Act, 1950 accords voting rights to Indian citizens residing in other countries.

Clarifying eligibility requirements for overseas electors, Mr Karthigeyan said, "Every citizen of of India:

(a) whose name is not included in the electoral roll; 

(b) who has not acquired the citizenship of any other country; and 

(c) who is absenting from his place of ordinary residence in India owing to his employment, education or otherwise outside India,

Ante deeni ardam, if you have your name registered in the voting list, you can go and vote in respective constituency....as long as you are Indian citizen..!

NRI voting rights...proposed voting ballots to be set up in Indian missions abroad so that we can vote ...adi proposal stage lo ne vundi....or second proposal was fraxy voting..! Framework lo fraxy word include chesinanduku bill lo further discussions and debates kavali ..

Postal ballot, nominated fraxy ballot or stationing ballots in Indian missions were the options explored..

kani existing laws work out aitalev...elections have to conducted only by election commisison of India...kani foreign misisons lo pedithe that has to manage by ministry of external affairs and this was the problem...

second option, nomination.....we can nominate officially to cast our vote..kani ila chesthe manam chepina gurthuku ki vote veyakapothey ? anduke ie option kuda discussion phase lo ne agipoindi...

Postal Ballot : idi only service personall ke vundi...nationawide implement cheyali ante kastame...huge task and not worth it..mistake can happen and votes biscuit kavochu

I still don't care but its my right to vote. If i have a chance i will vote for sure.
