Punjikastala was an apsarasa in Indra's court. By curse she is reborn as Anjana . Hanumanthudu is born to Anjana and Kesari though it is said vayu has carried divine power of lord shiva into anjana's womb. Anduke key vuyuputra antaru. Ikkada tribal ala ayyaru ? Brahmagyanam unna vallu brahmin annaru so yeah he might be considered brahmin and that's how he appeared before rama in ramayana.
