andhuke ee generation lo ani mention chesa ... not talking about 80s as things were different

nenekkada chiru chesindi right anale.. he was wrong for shutting the shop... but initial ga aasinchinanni seats raledu and he himself lost in one area kada... so the point is films valla crores of fans unna it doesnt matter in politics annadhi clear ga ardham aindi... so it slowed down some other actors' thought of launching a party antunna...

There were only two instances where film stars became successful politicians. MGR in Tamil Nadu and cut,copy paste version of MGR in erstwhile AP by NTR. That was the time and a phase. 

After that many film stars entered into politics but none survived. Every fil start entereed to become a CM, but few of them could reach up to MP or Union Minister but other than that, none succeeded. 

Chiranjeevi is no exception. 

if ever and any other film star becomes a CM, then the reason would be something else but not film popularity.
