No kids and no responsibilities aithe inka better. Easy to adjust. 

Switching to IT is not a big deal  em IT background lenodu kuda nana sankal naaki elagola 6months lo adjust aipotaru. You have programming experience so shouldn’t be a big deal.

 

if you have been an immigrant earlier, again it won’t be too much  challenging .

if things don’t work out you have Aus to go back to. I don’t think it will be hard to get back to your normal life in aus in the worst case. Just think if USA exit opportunities If things don’t workout as planned.

 

dont know how it is in aus but USA lo too many cities so many opportunities. As long as visa is stable , you can try.
