it is up to him man, he is not some duffer either, he is an absolutely capable and a sensible guy but currently he is not at the same level playing field of KCR  or even Harish yet to withstand opponents in this field. Harish on the other hand has an early entrant advantage and has the virtue of working as a number 1 assistant to KCR since 2001 and hence learned the tricks of the trade. Both are capable in their own right..some time in opposition will help KTR grow as a peoples leader

I feel harish is more obedient than ktr, often time I felt  ktr is sort of rebel since he has been given the freedom to be his own since his childhood. for exampe: even KCR can't force his religious beliefs on  his son..I see either it is KCR being so considerate and understanding to not  to enforce his beliefs on his son or KTR is adamant and likes to do whatever he believes in.

that means KCR has better chance of convincing harish than KTR. as said I can't find fault with KTR either as a father's son he gets the priority as the next in line to lead the party and whether he accepts or not is a different question.
