snoww Posted December 3, 2018 Report Posted December 3, 2018 ‘ఉక్కు మనిషి’ సందర్శకులు రోజుకు 30,000 వడోదర: స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుడు సర్దార్ వల్లభ్భాయ్ పటేల్ ‘ఐక్యతా విగ్రహం’ సందర్శనకు జనం పోటెత్తుతున్నారు. ప్రపంచంలోనే అత్యంత ఎత్తైన 182 మీటర్ల పటేల్ విగ్రహాన్ని గుజరాత్లోని నర్మద జిల్లాలో ప్రకృతి అందాల నడుమ నిర్మించారు. ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీ అక్టోబర్ 31న ఐక్యతా విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ అద్భుతాన్ని వీక్షించేందుకు రోజుకు 30,000 మంది సందర్శకులు వస్తున్నారని గుజరాత్ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి జేఎన్ సింగ్, పర్యాటక శాఖ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రెటరీ ఎస్జే హైదర్ తెలిపారు. సర్దార్ సరోవర్ ఆనకట్ట వద్ద నిర్మించిన పటేల్ విగ్రహాన్ని చూసేందుకు అమెరికా కౌన్సుల్ జనరల్ ఎడ్గర్డ్ కగన్ వచ్చారు. విగ్రహం లోపలి భాగంలో 153 మీటర్ల ఎత్తునున్న వీక్షకుల గ్యాలరీలో కాసేపు గడిపారు. అక్కడి నుంచి ఆనకట్టను, వింద్య, సాత్పురా పర్వత శ్రేణులను వీక్షించారు. ‘ఈ విగ్రహం నన్నెంతో ఆకట్టుకుంది. ఈ భారీ నిర్మాణం వెనకున్న ఉద్దేశం తెలుసుకున్నందుకు సంతోషంగా ఉంది’ అని కగన్ అన్నారు. Android_Halwa Posted December 4, 2018 Report Posted December 4, 2018 Imagine 30,000 people to visit the place, approx 30,000 meals have to be prepared, transport, allied business, mrefreshments selling vendors, othe rvendors... 30,000 visitors, thats like400 visitors per hour considring regular business hours...thats good crowd...good commerce. Android_Halwa Posted December 4, 2018 Report Posted December 4, 2018 Tough to calculate but cosnidering average spent by each visitor at 100 rupees, thats a whopping 30 lakh commerce activity.. considering there are hundred vendors , each vendor would be doing a bsuiness of 30,000 rupees per day and with profit margins at 30%, average earning f each vendor would be around 10,000 rupees per day which translates to 3 lakh a month and potential direct employment of 4 people per establishment.
