Ask HR to ask your employer on further explanation or justification on one such claim, for example your employer stated "theft at workplace", when you are placed at third party client site how can he say that,  HR can talk to client manager where you worked as cross reference to prove him wrong.

Employers eppudu alane untaru. Naku ayite okadu asalu employee ney kadu ani cheptadu. I fail bg every time . Last few projects nunche nene chptunna he says i wasnt his employee ani w2 email chestunna. They screw how much ever they can.  Kakapote employee kadu ani cheppadame chala better than saying theft and all that.

Good terms lo bayatiki ravadam always better. But sometimes ila ayitai . Paystubs, w2's unte light we can defend. E employer mari nasty vedhava la unnadu. Theft ani cheppadam enti sunta gadu.
