I know ppl ask for an email in writing that they won't issue a letter. I am not sure how far the Visa officer will accept email printouts. They will accept. You have official client email address with their domain, ID card as proof of support. Don't complicate this by thinking too much. Be confident. He mentioned : Good Afternoon, The visas in question are all in H categories if it was a visa class that was different you would be advised to apply in your home country for that first time visa. Even though you have transitioned to and H1 it still falls under the same visa category as the H4. In this case you should have a fair chance of qualifying for the visa. If you have mixed feelings you are welcome to apply in India. Regards, Visa Nassau
