In Telangana, caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to call for snap polls may help the TRS clinch victory, even though one survey has given the grand old party the edge in the southern state.

 

Pollsters on Friday predicted a predicted a win for the Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while forecasting a tight finish in Madhya Pradesh. In Telangana, caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to call for snap polls may help the TRS clinch victory, even though one survey has given the grand old party the edge in the southern state. The swing, however, was not clear in Mizoram with the Congress racing ahead in one poll, while another giving the lead to the MNF.
