if you are able to find one for 2C distance with in a km thats better..but you didn't find it yet rght?..my cousin brought an acre 2 yrs bck at 2.7C per acre..thts around 1-2kms near NRI..i am not sure if you can find one for your reqs

better invest in bangalore, that city also has lot of potential to expand, any land near by devanahalli within reach of NH is good investment, hyd lo nadiche boom konchem risky ga undi

right place ki velli kanukkovaali, there is one outskirt in Varthur(30-40 mins from ITPL and Whitefield in peak hours), you can get 30x40ft  plot for around 45-50lakh, it is growing like hell these days, there is a proposed ORR from Hosakote to E City via sarjapur, that goes over this area, which will add more value to the land, there are international schools near by, very good hospitals and malls. right area to invest.
