'merit' has no meaning. every exam system can be rigged to maximise your results, depending on how much time/money you waste on it.

This is one thing really bad in Indian society....except DNA, nothing should be inherited but in India, everything is inherited, including property and profession.

its so obvious. when 30% of India lives in poverty.. and another 50% lower middle.. the idea of 'merit' makes zero sense.

that a govt has to represent every section of the population.. rich/poor/upper/lower/caste/cis/trans/women .. all of them.

it may not make sense to you, but poor people no longer believe that the rich/middle class 'merit' bois have the 'countrys' best interest in mind, and have reasonable power to stop them from hogging all govt jobs in the name of merit.

that's the fourth category. regular joes. They should get max govt jobs. if a govt should even exist, that is.
