people who reel against freebies, are either naive or conceited. 

because the entire economy is a freebie, for different sections of population at different times.

without targeted giveaways, for eg. upgrading metro, airways, it infra, import/economy subsidies, etc.. there's no economy.

free market, if its really implemented, will be unbearable, because profits will quickly dry off. and I can't even begin to imagine the social implications of that. people are really not ready to be stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone, in a large group. not possible.

plus people are taught from kids (brainwashed) that country is great. This giveaways (freebies, reservations) are the only way to maintain that 'country'.

absolutely. the idea of a 'govt', and a 'country' itself is laughable.

it wasn't the non merit bois that got together to create it. the onus is not on them to change it. Just to do their best to barely survive within it.

an example of non merit bois getting together to create a country (again a merit boi concept it is) is USSR. It survived for about 40yrs.. from 1918 to 60s, max.

they managed to defeat germany in the war (a merit boi country), and continued to embrace the concept of 'country' within which to work their egalitarian system.

obviously it was a big big collossal flop in the end. 

In contrast, lets take US. they kept innovating (politically), and were much more flexible. right after the war their 'free market' system collapsed. The war fed their economy, and after the war everyone was jobless.

so they created an economy where every man will have a job. it ran until 60s, when profits dried off, because inflation touched double digits (salaries went too high). then they pivoted in the 1980s to liberal capitalist system that didn't care much about jobs, but about inflation.

it also flopped in 2008. 

now notice what happened. 'merit bois' didn't concede defeat and pivot. instead they bailed themselves out, and continued to soldier on as if nothing happened.

it is in this context, that I point out the large heartedness of non merit bois, to let others rule them, in exchange for peanuts. if merit bois have a problem with this peanuts, they deserve to be called out. according to me..

they have created a politically stagnant situation with their inability to let go. the result is goign to be something drastic. 

In india's context, this is slightly different. but the saaramsam is the same.
