In laws travel to usa dilemma

Found out over internet when searched

am on H1 and working as contractor

nit sure how much balance need to be shown I hear atleast $10000

but can I also show my statements or assets as support?? Btw have not heard of the same in discussions when I studied other things online or situations of others online

1) Carry your last 6 months bank statements and make sure you have atleast $10k in your account.

2) Carry a invitation letter addressing to the consulate general US that "you are going to sponsor the visa for your parents and you are going to take them to visit places like DC,Niagara,Universal Studios,Dinsey etc etc..and they will stay for a period of 3 months. Google online you will find many sample letters

 

3) ***Very important*** - You must carry a document - If parents are employed then ask them to take tax retruns, bank statements. IF they are retired then tell the officer that they are retired and doing some business/agriculture. You should be in a position to prove that your parents will return to India becuase they have their own house/business/agric etc. etc.

Most importantly don't lie or fabricate things. BE as honest as possible.

1) am little worried as the balance might be less than that but I think manageable to bring or take money just to show a balance of 10K

2) yet to google but the directions are helpful on the same

3) They are here to take care of their daughter ( my wife) delivery purpose and would be back after that to take care of their place/home and agriculture as their own source of work

never say  abt delivery during p--o---e or any 1nterview....they should always say they are coming here to visit places (give 5-6 places so they can mention that when asked) and spend some time with you guys...

Give details on your name , address , phone numbers , employer , what you do etc

No amount is needed , Interview is for them so nee documents/amounts vallaki useful kadu , they need to show/provide impression that they will return back etc

so mee in laws ki house/land/bank docs ready chesukomanu , your documents are not needed

This is what I got from browsing through Murthy forums some time back when I was looking for visa processing for my in laws

Which visa is it by the way? B1 or B2 or B1/B2 on website it has these three options

relative mentioned it would be usually given for a period of 10 years with multiple entry 

does someone have the correct visa that need to be selected

B2 is the kind of visa per redbus website

Manam financially support cheste then mana bank balances etc chupinchali along with other docs. 

Ma parents US visit visa  ki ma pinni provided docs but ma parents valla funds aey chupinchukunnaru.

I show my funds (self sponsor) when i travel to other countries where my sibling lives but they send me invitation and family visit supporting docs.  Hope it is clear now !
