I had similar situation back in 2016. I was almost completing my 2nd Master's. Anyhow, my H1B was  approved, but COS was not approved ( Consular Processing). So, I had to go to India for stamping and it went well. VO asked basic questions and  I didn't even took out any documents(i mean VO didn't ask for any) apart from passport and I-797. Of course, it depends on case to case and Visa Officer. I saw same situation for couple of other friends and they got their Visa approved.

Questions VO asked me:

 Who is your petitioner?

 What is your highest level of education and what is your major?

 How much is your salary?

Where did you graduate from?

Where do you work?
