Not an easy job. Certificate is easy, but you have to change it in indian passport which is very complicated.

You should appear infront of judge and get witneesses to prove you are born in Nepal.

so just close all holes and wait in line.

Like for example a friend of mine has Indian passport ..but he was born in Emirates. He got gc in 11 months..

 

Gc is given based on place of birth not country of citizenship or passport.

It doesnlt matter If the person is already in US or India, he still have to get th palce of birth corrected in Indian passort, Correcting this in Indian passport is big process and lot of questions from the district judicial.
