Asal is destiantion wedding a great idea or waste of money?

Sangeet, marriage and reception so 4 days ki edi baguntadi? Maybe goa, kerela etc..

Anyways people are spending a bomb to get married, why not do it in grand style with close relatives and friends?

But I want to know the estimated ball park if someone has an idea about this please share.

I hosted it for my friend 

300 very close guests

total cost was 5 million USD including travel, lodging and boarding for 1 week

including gifts for the guests.

Yes I will have  my wedding in Goa beach side  with only first families and very close friends (150ppl)  . Chala ishtapadi Oka vela chesukunte will spend ala kakunda compromise ayyi not so excited ayite  picha light gudi lo chesukunta . Worth depends on how much you liked the perosn .  30-40 Lakhs just celebration ki avutundi without Jewellery etc etc . Ball park no one can say as mandapam bangaram to paisal to flowers cheyinchukunte Crores lo kuda chesukovachu like that politician who had videos for invitations and flowers with 1000 rs notes during demonetization.
