Friends quick question, has anyone applied recently for the Indian eVisa or Entry visa for a kid who was was born in the US? Will either of these two work? Seems Evisa we can get online itself. I am leaving middle of next month, hence the question. Any suggestions please?

My friend applied recently for his daughter who was born here. It took less than a week to get approved and was valid for 60 days.

Keep in mind... evisa only valid for 60 days... if stay is longer that .. evisa is not an option..

Yes, i saw the online option. I got confused with so many options. Also, someone asked me if was going to apply for evisa on arrival. That confused me even more? What does on arrival mean here?

Thanks for the note. I think you are referring to 'entry visa'.I am currently looking at required documents and how detailed the form is for the entry visa as well.
