nee sbi account nunda or parents. Is it resident account or NRE or NRO account in sbi? Internet banking nundi chesava or did u contact branch for help. I heard NRE nundi easy gane transfer chesukovachu usa ki but NRO nundi usa ki cheyalante edo paper work cheyalani.

You don't need an account. It's just like Western union or any other service. Your parents/who ever is sending money need to show your passport copy and visa stamping copy as a proof that you are abroad. I don't know the upper limit but my father went to SBI and gave my BOA details (AC no, wire transfer routing number, US address, passport n visa copies) and money, they took care of the rest. This is from Vizag main branch SBI. If I remember correctly, the person who is sending money must be SBI customer. (which makes sense as they are not running a service like XOOM)

Also, if you have NRE account in SBI, you can withdraw money from BOA ATM using your SBI debit card and they charge $7 per $800 per day. I did that 2-3 times . That is the simplest thing if need cash urgently and less than $1000
