Ramya Krishnan essays a porn star ------ in "Mallu UnCut"

After playing a power-packed character Rajamatha Sivagami in Baahubali, versatile actress Ramya Krishnan seems interested in experimenting with her roles.

Reportedly, she has opted for yet another bold role of a porn star in her upcoming film Super Deluxe, directed by award winning filmmaker Thyagarajan Kumara Raja of Aaranya Kaandam fame. And, she has replaced ace actress Nadhiya, who was the first choice of the director. The film has Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead protagonist of a trans-woman called Shilpa.

One may recall that a few months back we wrote that Ramya will be seen playing a role with grey shades in Super Deluxe and that she substitutes Nadhiya, who turned down the offer.

Kumara Raja, known for his strong portrayal of women in his films, himself spilled the beans about Ramya’s role while giving an interview to a website.  It is learnt that Ramya will be seen as a porn actress in a film within Super Deluxe titled ‘Mallu Uncut’. 

Samantha Akkineni, Fahadh Faasil, Mysskin, Gayathrie and Bhagavthi Perumal are among the ensemble cast. Even Samantha’s role Vaembu (neem in English) is said to be a hard-hitting one.

While Vinod and Nirav Shah handle the cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music. 

The film has three directors as co-writers — Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy and Neelan Shankar.
