Used Tesla model X 90D $70k range lo unnai with six/7 seater 30 to 50k miles. After researching major maintenance is change battery coolant once every 4 yrs and break fluid once every 3 yr.

Is it worth buying? Brand new X will be $105k

I am in the market and hence konchamu research chestunnanu. Two expensive parts in a tesla are the drive unit and the battery and these parts are also most used parts mechanically in the car which are covered by a 8 years/120000 miles warranty. Generally speaking tesla semi truck shares same platform as their model 3/s/x, vallu 1 million miles test taryvata kuda drive unit anf battery degradation em ledu. In my opinion it is not a bad idea to consider a  used Tesla since you will save money.

Your car is protected by a New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Battery and Drive Unit in your car are covered for a period of:

  • Model S and Model X – 8 years (with the exception of the original 60 kWh battery manufactured before 2015, which is covered for a period of 8 years or 125,000 miles, whichever comes first).
  • Model 3 with Standard or Mid-Range Battery - 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, with minimum 70% retention of Battery capacity over the warranty period.
  • Model 3 with Long-Range Battery - 8 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, with minimum 70% retention of Battery capacity over the warranty period.

These warranties cover the repair or replacement necessary to correct defects in the materials or workmanship of any parts manufactured or supplied by Tesla, which occur under normal use.

mostly between X and model 3, new model 3 is costing more or less costing same as a used model x. Can’t afford new model x and  hence the dilemma, for now keeping a tab on tesla certified preowned ones

he meant the new autopilot equipped vehicles (extra cameras across the body) but it doesn't matter because i'm sure you don't want it.
