The Administrative Office of the US Courts (AO) said on Tuesday that it will only have funds for "mission critical work" starting on February 1, 2019, due to the government shutdown. This includes criminal cases but major civil cases involving the US government will be put on hold. The shutdown entered its 32nd day on Tuesday.
