Search continues for missing plane carrying Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala

French police and the French Civil Aviation authority confirmed Premier League team Cardiff City’s new signing Emiliano Sala was on a light aircraft which disappeared over the Channel Islands. Rescuers from Guernsey Police have been looking for the plane, which was travelling from Nantes, France to Cardiff, Wales. Rescue operations are underway after the search was suspended overnight. The Argentine striker was one of two people on board.
