Traditionally, fans in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu celebrate movie releases by pouring milk over huge posters of film stars. Now milk traders in the state have complained to police over the rampant theft of milk and want police protection ahead of the release of a new movie starring actor Simbu who appealed to his fans to generously pour milk on his cutouts.
