Heck, he might never even become a Chief Minister in his lifetime. But that is not what he wants anyway. His aim is to provide and represent an alternative force. Both the major political fronts in AP are outdated and corrupted. But guess what, even they are not his enemy. His enemy is the public mindset that thinks that all this is fine. His fight is against the common thought that "this is the way it works". We all nod in agreement that people vote based on caste, and people vote only if you distribute money. We think we are "practical" when we say that a candidate must be able to spend at least 30c in a constituency, or have a large following from his caste to be able to win. Let that practical world keep laughing at him. He is busy digging and carving a new path. He does not care or even listen to the satires and criticism that he gets, and even when he does once in a while, he probably laughs hard to himself. He may even be bored of all that by now. He is trying to reach deep into your mind to bring back into your consciousness the sense of right and wrong. He doesn't need anybody's approval for it. He wishes to lead by example. He already did it by never asking for a single favor or a position when he had the chance. If people are intelligent enough, they will vote for him. If not, never mind. A society or a civilization succeeds or crashes as a collective whole by it's own virtue. Quote
