Govt needs to empower people and need to look after the people, not to run behind the companies. CM is elected for a reason.

yeah central govt's job is to maintain the integrity of the currency, and make sure the wealth inequality doesn't become unbearable.

state govts duty is to make sure delivery systems are tip top.. both citizen services, and welfare services.

govt loses revenue the more it attracts foreign factories. because it has to give them freebies.

state govt's max revenue is from tax on people's consumption, especially petrol. Since people will always consume, govt can and will get revenue.

other biggest source of revenue for state govt is the central govt.

more foreign factories == loss of revenue.

Central govt projects, and grants are another big source of revenue for the govt. Its the job of the govt to realistically plan within these constraints, not promise Singapore in a place where people don't have minimum health or education standards.
