India lo road lu ee kadu Runways kuda congested ee. This is the live example where crew is expected to take off and land on poor runways often. Vijayawada Runway is no different.

FYI....

Airports runways need to be debris clear. not just foreign debris but from tire marks. Over a period of time, these tire marks accumulate and become hard, causing damage to wings and bottom. This has been reported widely and common problem.

for people who think debris on the runway will not cause damage to the aircraft, read below...

A major aircraft disaster has happened because of debris on the runway. A metal wire, roughly a length of about 1 meter was on the runway and, hope you all know Concorde aircraft, the world's fastest and supersonic passenger aircraft.

This aircraft has crashed landed just after takedown killing 109 people on board and 4 on the ground.

Opposition kutra, modi kutra and political conspiracy has beeb ruled out 🙂

It may sound silly but in reality, runway debris will take down an entire flight.

Concord is good example. A small metal piece was responsible for aircraft crash.

Well, all together it’s a different issue. Debris on runway is not at all acceptable. Even a small stone can take down an entire aircraft.

Indian skies are one of the safest. DGCA works pretty good. Regulations are monitored very strictly. This one seems to be bit scary yet a serious issue.

Airport operators need to be careful and hope this would be an eye openor.

Private operators like GVK,GMR usually take care better.than AAI.
