Spartan Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Come February 14 and you will be able to skip long queues for getting the visa-on-arrival (VoA) at Thailand’s major airports. The country is going to introduce a e-visa on arrival (VoA) for 21 nationalities, including Indians, that will allow travellers to receive their travel authorisation online pre-departure within 24 to 72 hours of application being submitted and then get a faster immigration service at dedicated immigration counters at major airports in Thailand. The Immigration Bureau of Thailand has tied up with VFS Global for this service. While the normal VoA fee per tourist in Thailand is Baht 2,000 (about Rs 4,500), VFS did not state what the charges for the eVoA will be and if people will need to pay more for skipping long immigration queues on to get the visa-on-arrival. VFS said a new “express” eVoA service is also available for approval within 24 hours. Applications will need to be submitted on thailandevoa.vfsevisa.com or at VFS Global visa application centres across the globe. Quote

Hector8 Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 mundu kuda on arrival visa ne unde.... recently announced they r going to charge for certain countries.Jan lo start avvalsindi april ki postponed Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently announced the extension of visa-on-arrival fee waiver for visitors of 20 countries till April 2019. Planning to visit Thailand? If yes, this is the right time to buy your tickets and save some extra bucks. Your trip is definitely going to be cheaper than before as the Southeast Asian tourist hotspot has announced an extension of visa-on-arrival (VoA) fee waiver till April 30, for visitors of 20 countries, including India. The said move comes in the wake of boosting tourism in the region. Referring to this development, TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said that the fee waiver move comes at a perfect time when Thailand is set to celebrate Chinese New Year in February and the Thai New Year (Songkran) in April. Referring to this development, a Thai Government spokesperson stated that visitors from the said 2o countries will get to avail this option only if they stay in the country for less than 15 days. Earlier, Thailand announced this waiver for two months as it had been witnessing a fall in inbound tourists from its biggest source of tourism, such as India and China. Indians have always preferred Thailand as their favourite vacationing spot, but with other destinations competing for the top spot, Thailand has been struggling to maintain its spot in the list of tourist hotspot. Thus, if you are planning a trip to Thailand during this time, you have the option to save approximately INR 4400 or $60 on VoA fees, and your duration of stay should remain fixed for 15 days. Quote
