I don't think ISKCON is helpful in terms of gyaanodaya, aatma saakshaatkara, awakening, etc. This is not a criticism about ISKCON or those who join it. Yes, we all chase dreams: first passing 10th class, then intermediate, next JEE, later IIT, later MIT, then Harvard MBA, then trying to become CEO of some company, etc.. Goals keep changing, as one's life goes on: no one thing (10th, inter, JEE, IIT, MIT, H/S/W MBA, CEO, etc) gives happiness forever. Yet, we all search for happiness--at least, we run away from being sad. In simple words, we are all seeking happiness in some or another thing; yet, it remains elusive, since whatever has made you happy is not making you happy anymore. That's the crux of the problem. Some guys just say that they are doing great 'saadhana', while others are busy seeking pleasures. This mere saying doesn't help. Quote
