how do you deal in these cases ? 

I think he have to physically available to pay the bank the transaction which happened by mistake ?

They can recall the transaction and take the money back . They can do the same for you also but you need to fight for it .

Bro i am not aware particularly whether he has to be available in person to pay back since I am in India..Don't have experience of American banking.

Just was saying since he talking with Banker in America from India better to get it sorted it out in ways possible rather than waiting till he is back to america....

Tell them that you are NOT going to pay them in US dollars. Instead, ask them to reverse the transaction on the India side: take rupees from the Indian account. This kind of reversals are so common in the states.

Are they playing drama to get more deposit from NRI? For example, you deposited 1K, but they made 2K equal amount in Indian account. Then it is their mistake. They should able to revert back. We no need to send another 1K because of their mistake or intention. Please make sure and talk to the people with this point. Thanks.
