you should follow the news. WB govt is not run by fcuking incompetents like the central govt is.

WB govt already challenged all summons by CBI in the high court, which is still pending - which means the state can refuse to respond to the summons.

WB govt is tackling this issue legally, its the center that jumped the gun and tried to make it a political spectacle.. to which mamata made it a bigger spectacle.

legally works only when both parties follow the law. Not when center blantantly violates it.

If WB is not at fault ‘legally’, they have nothing to lose. In fact, based on the sequence of events you said above, it gives them some sympathy too from people of the state. No question of public shaming would arise.
