1. Army is lying, West Bengal facing coup

Mamata Banerjee locked herself up at the state government secretariat “guarding our democracy” on Thursday and claimed that the Indian Army’s presence at Toll Plazas in the state was akin to a military coup. She even accused the army of lying.

don't know what that is, but what is Indian Army's job in the states? 

she's right, if Army presence is huge in any state, then its a serious cause for concern. Army should not be encouraged in anyway.

1. This data collection exercise is being done in North East states like Assam (18 points), Arunanchal Pradesh (13 points), West Bengal (19 points), Manipur (6 points), Nagaland (5 points), Meghalaya (5 points), Tripura and Mizoram.
2. 5–6 unarmed Army personnel at each points were taking data of heavy vehicles. Same exercise was done in the previous year too, at same places on 19-21 Nov.
3. Similar exercise has been carried out at Jharkhand, UP and Bihar from 26 September to 1 October 2016 under South-Western command. It was also done by Central command of Army in UP, Bihar and Jharkhand in places like Allahabad, Lucknow, etc.

just because it was done in other states, doesn't mean its right to do it. Its not Army's job to do it. 

Mamata is right. Army shouldn't set their foot in the state unless requested by the state govt.

Indian army is the reason why there are terrorist attacks. What they do in Kashmir and North east is 1000 times worse than any terrorists have done in India.
