An assistant commissioner of police of the Rachakonda police has been transferred with immediate effect for his alleged involvement in the Chugurupati Jayaram murder case. 

Ibrahimpatnam ACP S Mallareddy was transferred to the Rachakonda Police Commissioner's office. This came after allegations that the ACP was in touch with Rakesh Reddy, the prime accused in the Jayaram murder came out. 

Vanasthalipuram ACP C Gandhinarayana has been given charge of the Ibrahimpatnam division.

It was earlier reported in The Hindu that an inspector of the Hyderabad City Police was transferred to the Police Control Room after his name surfaced in connection with the murder case. 

According to Rachakonda police, a report from the Andhra Pradesh police is expected in this connection. If the said report has evidence against the two officers, then action will be taken against them, the police said. 

Jayaram was allegedly murdered after the prime accused Rakesh Reddy got into an altercation with the victim who was confined at the latter's residence at Road Number 10 in Jubilee Hills. 

The victim is said to have borrowed ₹4.5 crore from the accused and after paying interest for a few months, he was unable to return the amount.

కోస్టల్‌ బ్యాంకు డైరెక్టర్‌ చిగురుపాటి జయరామ్‌ హత్య కేసులో కీలక మలుపు చోటుచేసుకుంది. కేసును తెలంగాణకు బదిలీ చేస్తూ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. జయరామ్‌  హత్య కేసులో మేనకోడలు శిఖా చౌదరి పాత్రపై మృతుని భార్య పద్మశ్రీ అనుమానం వ్యక్త చేశారు. కేసును తెలంగాణ పోలీసులే దర్యాప్తు చేయాలని కోరుతూ జూబ్లీహిల్స్‌ పోలీసులను ఆశ్రయించారు. గత నాలుగు రోజుల నుంచి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ పోలీసులు తన భర్త హత్యపై రకరకాల ప్రచారాలు చేస్తూ, టీవీ సీరియల్స్‌లా సాగదీసి ఏమాత్రం తేల్చలేకపోయారని, ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఆంధ్రా పోలీసులపై నమ్మకం కోల్పోయానని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ మేరకు మంగళవారం రాత్రి ఆమె ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు.(ఆంధ్రా పోలీసులపై నమ్మకం లేదు)

కేసు వ్యవహారాలన్నీ తెలంగాణతో ముడిపడి ఉండడంతోనే జయరామ్‌ కేసును బదిలీ చేసినట్టు ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది. పద్మశ్రీ ఆరోపణల నేపథ్యంలో కేసును బదిలీ చేయకుండా మరింత వివాదాలకు తావు ఇవ్వకూడదని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చినట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. జయరామ్‌ హత్య కేసులో శిఖాకు ఎలాంటి సంబంధం లేదని ఏపీ పోలీసులు చెప్పడంతో అభ్యంతరాలు వ్యక్తమయ్యాయి. మేనకోడలు శిఖా, సొంత అక్కనుంచి ప్రాణహాని ఉందంటూ జయరామ్‌ గతంలో తనతో చెప్పినట్టు పద్మశ్రీ మీడియాకు వెల్లడించారు.

this is old news, atleast the events that transpired are all after all this had happened. Latest is AP police transferring the case to TG police

I have a gut feeling that something is fishy with shika, couldn’t believe  she got a pass with out a thorough investigation. Hope the culprits get punished✌️
