I know that's what Hindutva people want. and that's why muslims do get a free pass in India/west in certain issues. but its not like islam is never challenged. It is challenged by muslims themselves in their spaces. There's no point in making a public spectacle of it, like it is needed when brahminism is mocked. you know why, right? because brahminism (not just brahmins, but all castes - including lower castes, that practise brahminism) rules India, and so it deserves to mercilessly mocked, and challenged in the public spehere. Not Islam/muslims. a nod and a nudge is what muslims get . Anything more, the hindu right wing assholes will use this opportunity to classify muslims as separate species, and demand all sorts of sanctions against them. railing against feminists on this issue is just pointless. look within. are you an anti-muslim bigot? I think you are. but may be you don't realise it. Quote
uttermost Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 before challenging feminists, challenge assholes like @MRI if you can. haha.. and who else.. I forgot the other guy's handle Ram something. there are no feminists in this db. so no one to challenge. Quote
uttermost Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 chinna pilladi laaga complaining.. miss vaallu chesthunnaru, veellu chesthunnaru.. ani. yes, the rules are different. if you want the same rules, beg your fellow religionists/casteists to treat muslims like people first. when do you think muslim public religiosity exploded in most parts of India? right after the Ram janma bhoomi movement. after watching assholes with shools on streets harrassing women, muslims started asserting their religious symbols more and more. and this burqa is a symbol of the backwardness of indian society as a whole. not just muslims. if hindus treat muslims as equal citizens of the country, most (not all) muslims will not need to assert their identity in public. uttermost Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 Have you ever heard Rehman's sister speak? amazing woman, she is. I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt here to that girl, who may be just exploring her religious identity, and that her family members tried to dissuade her going in public like that. but kids can be rebellious. and they change when they grow up. equating this to brahminical patriarchy, which rules India and has almost destroyed India with its narrowmindedness is silly. uttermost Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 feminists in the middle east have been murdered for challenging their society.. do you want feminists in India to also be murdered for challenging India's society - which is mostly Hindu? you won't excuse them, until they challenge both Hindu, and Islam equally? haha.. there is very less difference between you and the islamic radical in the middle east. a couple more decades of this sh1t, and India will get there.
