Oscar Arias Sánchez has been accused of sexual assault by a psychiatrist and antinuclear activist, as reported by local newspaper Semanario Universidad and The New York Times. In a second interview with The Washington Post, Emma Daly, the head of communications at Human Rights Watch, also accused Arias of groping her.
