Ted Cruz asks the Senate to pass a bill that would make 'El Chapo' pay for the border wall

Texas Republican Ted Cruz urged his Senate colleagues on Tuesday to pass the so-called El CHAPO Act. The bill would allocate the $14 billion prosecutors intend to seize from drug kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán toward the construction of a wall along the southern border. Guzmán was convicted on Tuesday on 10 criminal charges.
