Yes. For simple personal purpose ayithey, do it like this.

Php and SQLite should suffice.

I am assuming you are asking what is the purpose and how do I wanna use it.

I am making a website in HTML and CSS. For now I am using it for personal where I can control devices at my home. If everything works out then I will let my dad install home automation(home theater, gardening, security etc) for the houses he is constructing. Work out kakapothe yedava avvatam endukani. Obviously work aithe I will have a professional redo my work to make it more secured.

ok, then better to change ur stack from simple HTML and CSS to..it will ease lot of things..

i would prefer node.js....but i know u r from mech background...
