KCR Is Great, Harish Is Bad!

Ever since he was elected as an MLA from Sangareddy, senior Congress leader T Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy has been trying to get closer to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He has been issuing statements that he had never opposed KCR and even declared that he would felicitate KCR if he comes to his constituency.

He called his party leaders and followers not to make any statements against KCR, since he had gained the massive mandate from the people.

Yet, there has been no green signal from the TRS leadership inviting Jagga Reddy into the party.

In the meantime, there have been reports that KCR has been sidelining his nephew T Harish Rao and that the latter might not get the cabinet berth again.

So, Jagga Reddy realized that the best way to get into the good books of KCR and his son K T Rama Rao is to praise them, while attacking Harish Rao.

The other day, he described KTR as the real hero, while Harish Rao was the villain for the TRS.

On Wednesday, Jagga Reddy made a scathing attack on Harish Rao, accusing him of diverting water from Manjeera and Singur reservoirs to Siddipet.

“The water in both the reservoirs belonged to erstwhile common Medak district. But Harish Rao looted the water, as it is the property of Siddipet,” he alleged.

At the same time, he gave clean chit to KCR.

“I don’t think KCR is aware of this diversion of water by Harish Rao from Manjeera to Sriramsagar project. Had he known about it, he would not have allowed it. In this water theft, KCR is not an accused. Only Harish Rao had done it using his authority as the irrigation minister,” he said.

Stating that Manjeera reservoir has been dried up and turned like a desert, thanks to Harish Rao, Jagga Reddy said KCR had become a villain in the eyes of Sangareddy people for the crime committed his nephew.

“KCR wanted to give drinking water to Sangareddy through Mission Bhagiratha, but Harish Rao has created hurdles in the same,” he said and appealed to the TRS chief to intervene and do justice to the people of Sangreddy district.
