GPA needs signature from embassy ...

you can post all the required documents to  nearest embassy  ( passport copy , visa copy, DL copy and GPA doc ) with $22 fee .

you can go walk-in... they do it on same day ...

If it is property purchase and stuff like that you can do in bank. I got GPA from chase bank for free

i guess notary is enough...maa frnd okatanu land konnadu and want to transfer power of attorney to someone in india...He just did notary from Registered notary...saripoindi adi aithe..

if it is your divorce related, you need to go to Embassy

for property transfers to make others power of attorney.... get the documents prepared from India and notarize it from here and ship it back that should be enough.
