Our soldiers lives were never cared for. We talk about politicians but have we introspected if we are different as individual human beings from these politicians.

same . every one trying to prove the other side as wrong. people bringing emotion to distort logic. people digressing topic.

The mistakes made by govt or civilian bureaucracy results in permanent consequences for armed forces. its not like a GDP growth rate that can be corrected in next quarter. these mistake result in body bags. these mistake result in making widows. these mistakes result in creating orphans.

There were some fundamental questions that need to be asked here. Questioning the govt is the right of the citizens and its doesn't mean that one supports the opposition

1)Roads in army cantonments across the country were opened to civilians against concerns of the armed forces. why? is it for political mileage?
2) why weren't illegal occupations in cantonment areas removed so far?
3) i remember in my childhood days, when Madras regiment convoy moves, no civilian vehicle is allowed on to the road till the convoy passes? why should vehicles stop for a PM or a CM and not for Armed forces convoy?are the armed forces target to ?
4) why is that we wake up and make noise only when the causalities are high in number? Do you know how many men in uniform die every day, because of terror attacks, accidents, suicides, collateral damage and because of corruption.

and coming to the present govt

I do not think the current NDA govt is any better than the previous UPA govt in respect to national security
1) They proposed the lowest budget in terms of % of GDP, in fact the 2019 defense budget was less than 2108 in dollar terms.
2) Why was no CDS appointed even though mentioned in their manifesto
3) why were no major reforsm initiated in the armed forces
4) why still 70% for the armed forces equipment is categorized as Vintage even after 5 year of govt
5)Why does a IAS/IPS office get hardship allowance to work in Guwahati but the soldier doesnt get the same when he is deployed in siachin

the scorpio came from some local route and joined highway just few meters away from the accident site..
