‘మురారి’ ఫేమ్ దీక్షితులు మృతి

ప్రముఖ సినీ నటుడు, దర్శకుడు డీఎస్ దీక్షితులు (63) నేడు మృతి చెందారు. ‘మురారి’ చిత్రం ద్వారా ఆయన నటుడిగా పేరుతెచ్చుకున్నారు. ఆ చిత్రంలో మురారి (మహేశ్ బాబు)ని రక్షించే క్రమంలో పూజలు చేస్తూ కనిపిస్తారు. ఇంద్ర, ఠాగూర్, ప్రాణం, వర్షం, అతడు తదితర చిత్రాల్లో కూడా ఆయన కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు. అలాగే ఆయన రంగస్థల నటుడిగానూ, అధ్యాపకుడిగానూ మంచి పేరు గడించారు. జూలై 28, 1956లో జన్మించిన దీక్షితులు రంగస్థల కళలో తెలుగు, సంస్కృత భాషల్లో ఎంఏ డిగ్రీలు పొందారు. దీక్షితులు మృతి పట్ల పలువురు సినీ ప్రముఖులు సంతాపం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

DS Deekshitulu, theatre personality and film actor, is no more.  He died due to a heart attack on Monday evening.  The veteran was on the sets of a film when he complained of chest pain.  The unit members rushed him to a hospital in Nacharam.  The doctors at the hospital declared that he was brought dead.  

Deevi Srinivasa Deekshitulu is his full name.  Born in Repalli in Guntur district in 1956, he was famously seen as a 'pujari' in Mahesh Babu's 'Murari'.  He went on to act in 'Indra', 'Tagore', 'Varsham' and 'Athadu'.  A relative of Uttej, Deeshitulu was also a TV artist.  

His mortal remains have been brought to Ameerpet, where he lives.
