Data validation, Data reconciliation, Data correctness, Data quality mainteance. 

Pre and Post data validations are very important along with functional testing for all logic changes. 

For doing this, SQL proficiency is needed.

Mostly it will be manual testing, Test cases, error logging and tracking using HP QC or Jira any tools. 

Dimensional data modelling concepts also working knowledge at least one ETL tool (Informatica, or data stage or abinitio at minimum to run or kick off those graphs or workflows).

Also performance testing related to the ETL graphs or workflow along and some debugging of logs to find out the error or stats is needed.

Regression testing is also needed in some cases like touching confirmed dimension etc. 

some teams might also expect to have good knowledge of Change management and QA/UAT Environment ownership .
