rocky420 Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 Below are pros and cons based on my limited interaction with friends working in various fields. Please share ur opinion. I had another thread asking for best IT field to shift to instead of Civil Engg. But wanted to start a new thread on pros/cons IT PROS: Work from home on Fridays (Never for other fields) Work from home mostly (Never for other fields) Easy to get a job if laidoff (Other fields really difficult) Opportunities in India or other countries (Other Eng fields have limited opportunities outside US) Higher pay CONS Stressfull depending on the client and expectations Quote
