02/20/2019: Revised I-539/I-539A Forms and Potential Impact on Processing Delays for H-4 Applications and H-4 EAD Applications

  • Currently, when I-539 and I-765 are concurrently file primary spouse's H-1B application with premium processsing request, H-4 spouse's I-539 application and H-4 EAD application are fairly quickly processed since there is no additional steps involved for I-539 application. However, it is likely that this will change because H-4 applicants must go through biometric (photograph & fingerprint) clearance process through the ASC offices.
