Android_Halwa Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 SP-BSP deal is not as easy as 1+1 is 2. top leadership coalition ki okay anna, ground cadre which has been fighting one and other will not usually go with each other. Congress oka 10% vote share kani kodithe SP-BSP sarva nashanam. I still don’t think yadav, jadhav, jat, harijan, mahajan will go together. Or atleast something that has not happened...Yadav-Kurmi differs...Brahman-Jat more likely to go together, OBC’s seems to be moving towards BJP than any other swing caste.. CRUCIAL voters are OBC’s. They are mostly anti BSP and failry gel good with SP but with coalition, they may go with BJP. Last elections, Jats votes to BJP in huge numbers after the fall out of Muzaffarnagar riots even ditching RLD’s Ajit Singh. Jats are most loyal voters to Charan singh and have never voted to any other party other than RLD but in 2014, RLD recorded lowest levels of vote percentage with 0 wins....but this time, they may go back to rLD again.. Brahmin and Thakur will be with BJP. A certain section is angry with BJP regarding the Ram Mandir but let’s waig till feb 26th for the judgement. Overall, SC and ST’s coming together with Yadav, on paper seems to be a good combination but a disaster. Minorities will vote for this combination out right but with congress in fray, may split this vote. Quote
Android_Halwa Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 If congress joins the bandwagon, SP+BSP+RLD+Congress, then it would be perfect recipe for win...can win minimum of 60-70 seats decimating BJP in UP. I still see this rainbow coalition happening. The moment election dates are announced, there would be a change in coalition for sure. Leaving behind congress could be a blunder by SP-BSP. Quote

State elections is a different ball game...SP did a blunder by giving 100 seats to congress...Had SP contested 400 seats, they would have ended up with atleast 100-130 seats , although still short of majority..! That was the lowest level of congress in its history...but congress is better than what it was in 2015-2016. Quote
