It’s like on the day of agreement, who ever had their positions as of then will continue holding them until further discussions are held and pledged to resolved the issue by diplomatic channels. This is part of the Shimla agreement. unfortuantely, India honoured the ceasefire but Pakistan keeps on violating this agreement and since then, many attempts were made but no progress will ever be made on diplomatic channels.
