New born checklist for NRI parents

can someone post all the things we need to get done for a new born kid in US

like getting birth certificate,passport and applying for OCI card etc..

Hospital lo SSN registration and Birth Certificate register cheskunte...anni apply aipotai u just need to go and pick up.

SSN intiki vastadi.

Schedule Passport application appointment, both parents must.

adi radaniki oka 3 weeks padtadi.

vachaka Indian OCi card apply cheyi (immediate plans unte apply for visa). OCI takes almost 2 months.

immediate ga kavalsina docs aite ave..mast aipotai..

make sure to add the baby birth to the insurance in company..

first 30 days moms insurance meeda cover aipotadi..but u need to add babys name on the plan

thats it....if you dont have immediate plans to go to India...then apply OCI...ledante apply india visa valid for 5yrs.
